The Metro Denver Pheasants Forever Chapter is holding their annual  fundraising banquet on February 21, 2009, at the Embassy Suites Hotel on I-70 and Havana in Denver and, we Want You to join us.  Doors will open at 5:00 PM with a buffet dinner beginning at 6:30 PM. Cocktails will be served throughout the evening and silent auction items will be displayed until just before the live auction commences.  Our signature live auction will feature fine art, firearms, novelty items and a special “live” (with paws) auction item that will certainly get everyone’s attention.  We will have a special youth raffle with games and activities for your young hunters as well.  So bring the whole family for a great evening of fun and fundraising. We will be holding special drawings for the youth attendees throughout the evening and every child is a winner!! 

2009 Signature Raffle

Our 2009 Signature Raffle is a one of a kind, custom made to order, hunting rifle built by Absolute Accuracy in Kansas City, Missouri.  Absolute Accuracy specializes in high end hunting, varmint and tactical rifles and their rifles are used by some of the largest law enforcement agencies in the country.  The base rifle will be constructed with a Stainless Steel action, Stainless steel barrel and a synthetic stock and has a retail value of $3000.  The winner will be able to choose from a number of short action calibers such as the .243 WSM, .270 WSM, .300 WSM, .308, 7mm WSM and the .325 WSM.  In addition, the winner will be able to choose from a limited selection of synthetic stock colors by Bell and Carlson. With the heavy barrel option, this rifle will be guaranteed to have an accuracy of ½ MOA (equivalent to ½ inch at 100 yards).  Now that, is ABSOLUTE ACCURACY!!!  Visit us at our booth at the 2009 International Sports Expo in Denver to see a sample of this amazing rifle. 

 

Bearpoint Kennels Pointing Lab puppy!

Bearpoint Kennels has graciously donated another pointing lab puppy to be auctioned during the live auction.  This puppy is from the Hawk Lilybelle line and we invite you to visit Bearpoint Kennels website at www.bearpointkennel.com under the “litter” link in order to research the pedigree for this extraordinary puppy.  This puppy comes with a hip, elbow and eye guarantee and will be approximately 8 – 9 weeks old at the time of the auction. 

Pheasants Forever is a national conservation organization formed in 1982 in response to the continuing decline of ring-neck pheasant populations across the country.  The organization has grown to over 100,000 members with a strong voice in Washington on conservation issues. Your Metro Denver Pheasants Forever Chapter focuses on youth education and provides no cost or low cost opportunities for our local youth to participate in mentored pheasant hunts, hunter safety courses, shotgunning clinics and local habitat projects.  Pheasants Forever’s mantra is “No child left indoors” and our goal is to continue that mission through the donations that we receive at our fundraising events. We need your help and support in order to accomplish this mission.  We invite you all to become members of Pheasants Forever and/or contribute to our cause with your generous donations.
